Day 15

Brrrrrr..... when I woke up this morning, it was 18 below outside. The wind chill is somewhere around 40 below, and all area schools were cancelled. I'm thankful for our pellet stove that we turn on turning the day to keep cozy in the living room!

Day 14

Danielle and Maya reading books together on the couch.

Day 13

On day 13, we went rollerskating with our homeschool group. It was nice to get out of the house for awhile. I couldn't help Maya skate because I had to watch the little boys, so these two girls helped her around. Wasn't that sweet?

Day 12

Here is our dog, Tunica. Danielle actually took this photo. I had to work, and didn't get a chance to take one today. Luckily, she is working on photography for her 4-H project and was using my camera on monday.

Day 11

Today, we had Kaden's former foster family over for dinner. This is his foster mom, Christine. They really treat him good- not only did they bring his favorite food, grapes.. but presents, too! He got a set of "Handy Manny" tools. Then he went all around the house "fixing " aka.. trying to saw all my furnitre in half- lol!

Day 10

Self Portrait- lol. I'm always the one around here taking photos, so I had to include myself.... like my hair color? I just colored it this morning-it's a bit more red than I wanted, but it will tone down.
Oh-and can you see my beautiful camera? It was my birthday present this year. I am still learning how to use it, but it's soooo.... much better than my old one!

Day 9

Day 9 - Grocery Day! This is what I usually buy to get us through 2 weeks of groceries. But this doesn't really include all of it. There are even several bags in the back seat, too. I dread grocery day,it's a huge hassle! That is why I shop for 2 weeks at a time, not only do I have to endure walmart less, but the less I go into stores, the less I spend.
